Janey Just in Case

I am a wife and a mother of five, I have four dogs, and I am a qualified Montessori teacher with over twenty-five years of experience with special needs.

In my spare time, I follow my passion for writing, this is my first picture book and is the first in a series of Janey books.

All books are published by Book Reality.

I am very dedicated and passionate about helping children in overcoming their anxieties and life challenges. Each story has a gentle message in it to help guide parents and children.

I draw from my own personal experiences and the children that I teach. Both my own children and the children that I teach are my inspiration.

Beginning school for the first time, returning or moving from one school to another, can be an enormous challenge for any child and can be stressful and disruptive for the whole family, which is why my first book in the series is focused on this.

My goal is to help reassure children and ease any worries that they may be experiencing as well as give them an understanding of routine and structure in a school setting. I hope that the story will also encourage children to talk through their anxieties, developing their self-belief and confidence.
