I am a stay at home mom to a four year old. After struggling for 5 years to have a baby we finally had my son. The blessing of his birth did not come without it's challenges. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and had to have an emergency c section, once he was out he was a little early but very healthy. I on the other hand, was not. I was sick for a while, the effects of he is birth left me with trauma, I have PCOS which caused issues with breastfeeding and eventually had to seek counseling for PPD. Through all of this, I found relief in art and began painting, I finished and published a novel I had started 10 years prior, and now I continue to paint and illustrate children's books.
